RETURNS AND WARRANTY

Returns Policy

The Consumer Guarantees Act sets out standards for goods sold by Lounge Around Ltd.

We stand behind our products quality and design. If, however you receive an item which is defective, you MUST contact us within 48 hours of receiving.

We accept returns or exchanges on merchandise deemed to have a manufacturer defect.

If goods sold are deficient or are faulty, we reserve the right to repair, replace or refund as we see fit.

Items being returned or exchanged for any other reason (agreed by us) must be in its original packaging, unused and in sellable condition in our opinion.  You are fully responsible for shipping the item back to us in its original packaging and we do not accept responsibility for lost or damaged packages.

Warranty

Here at Lounge Around we are confident about the quality of all our outdoor furniture products which have been specially designed to withstand our New Zealand weather conditions and high UV levels.

All warranties are non-transferable and are limited to the original purchaser with proof of purchase.

Our warranty does not cover defects or damage caused by:

  • Improper Assembly
  • Modification(s) after purchase
  • Inadequate maintenance
  • Intentional damage, accident, misuse, abuse or negligence
  • Normal wear and tear which includes weathering
  • Damage that was a direct effect of conditions relating to the weather

Most of our products come with a 3-year warranty.  Except for our Umbrellas, these come with a 2-year warranty on structure and fabrics and a 1-year warranty on the electrical components. Hanging Chairs also have a 1-year warranty.
